Katie Couric is putting an end to her participation in “CBS Evening News” after less than 5 years of work. Couric’s plans to leave the show have not been public yet, but the information comes from an executive of the network who remained to stay anonymous.
News comes after months of speculation that Couric would be leaving CBS to start her own syndicated talk show next year. Still, she has time in her contract which expires in June 4.
