Landslides hit an orphanage area near the Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, killing 16 people, almost all of them children, officials state.
Rescuers salvaged nine people from the Hidayah Madrasah al-Taqwa orphanhood in the area of Hulu Langat.
The saving process, which was haltered by rain, has now finished.
