After he claimed the oath of office Monday to become 46th mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel presented the challenges ahead for the nation’s third-largest city: improving schools, stopping gun violence and retrenchment a city government taxpayers can no longer afford.
And he enquired Chicagoans, the City Council and the business community to help him.
